The Mollo Law Firm is pleased to announce its affiliation with Soles for Souls.
Soles for Souls collects shoes for people in need. In the aftermath of the 2004 tsunami that hit Southeast Asia, the founder of Soles for Souls was inspired to help. One night he was at home and saw an image on television of a single shoe washing up on a devastated beach. He was moved to action and within months arranged for the donation of a quarter of a million shoes to victims of the disaster. Hurricane Katrina hit shortly thereafter. Soles for Souls sent over one million pairs of shoes to the gulf communities affected by the storm. The organizers decided that efforts should not be limited to the aftermath of natural disasters. Instead, they decided to build a full-time non-profit that helps people throughout the world. Today Soles for Souls cares for the needy in our own neighborhoods and around the globe. The simple donation of a pair of shoes can spare someone from life-threatening disease and illness. It can also help children achieve standards of hygiene necessary to attend school.
The Mollo Law Firm is committed to giving back to our local, national and global community. To that end, we will be offering clients a discount when a donation is made to Soles for Souls. Any client donating a pair of new or gently used shoes will receive $50 off fees for legal services rendered. We have a drop-box at our Red Bank office. We will assume any cost associated with shipping donated shoes to the Soles for Souls headquarters.
We thank our clients in advance for their kindness and charity. We look forward to joining this wonderful organization in advancing its humanitarian objective: Changing the world one pair at a time.
